LABOSPORT has extensive knowledge and expertise designing and building test equipment. Since our inception in 1993 we have continually innovated and implemented new test methods and equipment.

Our extensive experience has enabled us to improve our testing equipment in order to improve the precision and design. Most of our equipment is designed and built in-house giving us ultimate control.

Our test equipment fully complies with the current standards and norms. In addition, LABOSPORT can provide the necessary training and technical support throughout the equipment’s life span.

Lisport ®

TestThe Lisport is a machine which has become the industry standard for artificial wear simulation of synthetic surfaces.

It was developed in the 1990s by LABOSPORT; the Lisport is designed to simulate accelerated wear of artificial surfaces in the laboratory in order to obtain in a few hours a condition representative of several years’ usage.

The Lisport comprises two studded rollers with crampons which subject the surface to translation and lateral movement to mechanically abrade the surface in a way typical of in-game usage.

The Lisport has become an industry standard piece of equipment with over a hundred sold across the world.

Lisport XL

P1010189A complete revision of the original Lisport; the Lisport XL is more realistic and quicker than its predecessor.

Over the years, the way sport is played has changed with technology, in particular the footwear for several sports (including football) which commonly comprise flat soles, bladed studs and many other configurations.

The Lisport XL has been created to respond to these changes. It combines wear by trampling (rollers with crampons) with abrasion generated by several footwear configurations which closed resemble typical usage.

Following extensive trails the results have been shown to correspond very closely to the reality of wear observed on the sports surface.

The Lisport XL is available in several lengths (assembly of elements 2m long without limit to number) and allows treatment of wide samples (1m)

Triple A

TestThe new generation of artificial athlete; lighter, quicker, more accurate and simpler to use.

The Triple A (AAA) is an advanced piece of equipment designed to measure the shock absorption, deformation and energy restitution of the playing surface. It is simple to use than the older double A (AA) artificial athlete and only needs one configuration / set-up to undertake all three measurements providing excellent repeatability and reproducibility.
